Immediate opening: port container crane operator (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in City of Bristol, Virginia. The job is on a busy construction site. Requirements: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work Day to day you will hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; read and interpret the load chart before every lift. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
