Assembly technician — Johnson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an assembly technician in Johnson County, Illinois. You will be based at a consumer goods manufacturing unit. What we are looking for: • Can read work instructions and basic measurements • Previous experience on a production or assembly line preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts You will report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away; log defects and place rejected units in the rework bay; keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station; solder small connectors and check the joints under a magnifier; pick the correct parts from the kit bins and feed them to the line; clean down the workstation and keep it to 5S standard.
