Now hiring: we are hiring a deboner in Pickens County, Alabama. You will work in a meat processing plant. On the job you will handle: • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain You should have: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
