Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Day-to-day duties: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
