Rigger — Lewis County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigger in Lewis County, Tennessee. You will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
