Single needle operator • Daviess County, Missouri

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a single needle operator in Daviess County, Missouri. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. The role involves press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Performance bonus on top of base pay.
