Bricklayer — Pike County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Pike County, Alabama. You will be based on a busy housing site. The role involves: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
