Argon welding operator • Jackson County, Florida

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Jackson County, Florida. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Day to day you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer.
