Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in City and Borough of Salford, England. The role involves: • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble You should have: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. £1,850 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
