Immediate opening: ACP cladding fabricator (Alaska)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an ACP cladding fabricator in Haines Borough, Alaska. You will work in a glazing and curtain wall company. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience fabricating aluminium doors and windows • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints Day to day you will crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine; de-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces; fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels; fabricate and fit aluminium composite panel (ACP) cladding; punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware; assemble window and door frames from extruded sections.
