Moulder wanted in Rio Grande County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a moulder in Rio Grande County, Colorado. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Your main tasks: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
