Urgent requirement: we are hiring a beldar in Clay County, Florida. Day-to-day duties: • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer You should have: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
