Rebar installer — Owan West

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar installer in Owan West, Edo. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites The role involves: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder Six days a week, one day off.
