In-process quality controller — Polk County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Polk County, Missouri. You will work at a busy manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
