System formwork carpenter — Black Hawk County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Black Hawk County, Iowa. The job is on a metro and tunnel project. Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Day to day you will repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN). 1+ years on the tools preferred.
