Ladle pourer — Boone County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Boone County, West Virginia. Day to day you will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits.
