Machine setter-operator — Monmouth County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Monmouth County, New Jersey. The job is in a textile mill. Requirements: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor Day-to-day duties: • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
