Domestic gas engineer — Dillingham Census Area

Vacancy available: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Dillingham Census Area, Alaska. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches On the job you will handle: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
