Lathe programmer-operator — Upshur County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Upshur County, Texas. The job is in a job-work machining unit. Day-to-day duties: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Six days a week, one day off.
