Die-casting operator wanted in Calderdale

Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Calderdale, England. You will work on the moulding line. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Day to day you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
