Blocklayer — Walton County

Join our team: we are hiring a blocklayer in Walton County, Florida. You will work on a new-build development. You will spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. Requirements: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
