Now hiring: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Peach County, Georgia. You will work on a busy construction site. Requirements: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts The role involves: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) Overtime paid at a premium rate.
