Shuttering and concrete hand — Evans County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Evans County, Georgia. You will work on a road and bridge project. Day to day you will set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. You should have: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
