Crane rigger — Fermanagh and Omagh

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane rigger in Fermanagh and Omagh, Northern Ireland. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around £2,450 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
