Flatlock machine operator — Esan South-East

Immediate opening: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Esan South-East, Edo. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown On a typical shift you will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality.
