Now hiring: brickwork mason (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Russell County, Kansas. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. You should have: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Day-to-day duties: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around $130 per day, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
