Immediate opening: we are hiring a packing machine operator in Essex County, Virginia. The job is at a busy packing line. On the job you will handle: • Apply labels, barcodes and batch codes to each pack • Separate rejects and re-pack faulty units • Change over film rolls and reset the heat sealer • Seal cartons with a tape gun or hot-melt glue • Inspect packs for leaks, dents or damaged seals What we are looking for: • Understanding of basic food hygiene for food packing • Able to follow health and safety procedures • Attention to detail for date codes and labelling At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
