Laundry presser — Tambuwal

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a laundry presser in Tambuwal, Sokoto State. On a typical shift you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Full-time, day shift.
