Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Clinton County, Ohio. You will be based on an industrial construction site. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through The role involves feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator.
