Semi-automatic welder — Macon County

Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Macon County, North Carolina. You will work on a structural steel site. Your main tasks: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Willing to work shifts and overtime 3+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
