Semi-automatic welder • Okrika, Rivers State

Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Okrika, Rivers State. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Your main tasks: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around ₦175,000 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
