We are recruiting: glazing assistant (Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Middlesex County, Virginia. The job is in a shopfront glazing company. Your main tasks: • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size You should have: • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
