Vacuum press operator wanted in Jackson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Jackson County, Michigan. The job is in a tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
