Laundry presser — Bibb County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a laundry presser in Bibb County, Georgia. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. Day to day you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
