On a typical shift you will work out the load weight and the lifting radius; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Rotating shifts.
