Day-to-day duties: • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents You should have: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
