Hydraulic crane operator — Gibson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Gibson County, Tennessee. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. The role involves hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
