Tig welder wanted in Ogemaw County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Ogemaw County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Own basic hand tools and PPE On the job you will handle: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
