Gas installation technician • Pottawatomie County, Kansas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Pottawatomie County, Kansas. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. Ideal candidate: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Driving licence for travel between sites Day to day you will braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
