Cold room technician — Douglas County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cold room technician in Douglas County, Minnesota. You will be based on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. You should have: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Your main tasks: • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
