Crane rigger wanted in Boone County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane rigger in Boone County, Iowa. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Day-to-day duties: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits.
