Fabricator-welder — Brewster County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Brewster County, Texas. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Your main tasks: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
