Immediate opening: we are hiring a waterproofing applicator in City of Norton, Virginia. The role involves replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights. Requirements: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Willing to work outdoors in all weather • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
