Rough terrain crane operator • Stanislaus County, California

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Stanislaus County, California. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Understanding of hand and radio signals You will help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
