Panel welder — Marion County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel welder in Marion County, Kansas. You will be based at a busy production line. The role involves: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Rotating shifts.
