Rough terrain crane operator — Cayuga County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Cayuga County, New York. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. Day-to-day duties: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams You should have: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) 4+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
