Counter butcher wanted in Republic County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a counter butcher in Republic County, Kansas. You will be based in a hotel or restaurant butchery. The role involves: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required 5+ years on the tools preferred.
