Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Portage County, Ohio. What we are looking for: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Your main tasks: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
