Heavy goods vehicle driver — Cobb County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Cobb County, Georgia. You will be based in a refrigerated transport fleet. What we are looking for: • Valid digital tachograph card • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Day-to-day duties: • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $190 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
