Foundry worker — Accomack County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry worker in Accomack County, Virginia. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. You will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
